It’s great news that police officers serving the New Forest West Area are now based in the District Council offices in The Avenue, Lymington.
Spending less on buildings means more can go on fighting crime. Not only that, once COVID restrictions allow, members of the public will be able to report crimes and anti-social behaviour face-to-face Monday to Friday during office hours.
The police in Hampshire have a good record of working collaboratively with local authorities and the fire service. This move is yet another example of that.
